hi i,m having problems with my chevy s10 4.3 pickup after installing new fuel pump plugs fuel filter and wires and rotor and fuel regulator and new injectors and i,m still having problems no power stalling can any one help me
MY 1991 CHEVY S10 SIMPLY WILL NOT START WHEN IT IS DAMP OUTSIDE......IT WILL START SOMETIMES AFTER I PRACTICALLY RUN THE BATTERY DOWN IN THE PROCESS,.........IT IS HOWEVER A VERY GOOD RUNNING TRUCK,,,,,NEW PLUGS....PLENTY OF SPARK.....NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO REPAIR THIS PROBLEM AROUND HERE.............CAN SOMEONE HELP ME??????..............JERRY
The clutch in my truck is leaking hydraulic fluid somewhere in it. I've taken it to a mechanic, who believes the slave cylinder is leaking. The price of fixing this, assuming it is the problem, depends on where the slave cylinder is located. I've been looking, but cannot find any information. I have a 1991 Chevy S10 and I am replacing the cruise control / turn signal / wiper lever. I have pulled the steering wheel and the turn signal plastic switch. I cannot seem to locate what holds the lever in place. Anyone have experience here that would help?? Thanks
I have a 1991 chevy s-10 w about 120k miles. The truck has always run very smoothly. After seeing a noticeable leak of coolant I flushed out the radiator. For the PRNDL indicator, you have to remove the small panel under the steering wheel(2 screws) and you will look for a small cable with a clip on the end. This cable(usually made of nylon) could be broken, or it's become 'unclipped' from the housing. One end of it is connected to the PRNDL indicator in the dash. S10 long bed with 4.3, 160 hp engine and 4:11 gears and auto, no AC. It had 70,000 mi. scratch and ding free body, dark blue metallic paint. We tuned it up, went through entire vehicle, changed all fluids, filters, lubed entire chassis and buffed out the paint. Of course he proceeded to lower the truck and add a few upgrades.
