Why end the best?
I've recently read that Chevy will again lose the Monte Carlo line! What's up with this? Sales down? Can't sell em? I don't think they're trying hard hard enough! Every other model (well all most every other one) has massive incentives! Thousands off better rebates Etc, Etc, Etc. but every time I've tried to purchase a Monte they are higher priced than most people ... Read More...
Monte Carlo SS Signature Series 2006
Does anyone know if Chevrolet is going to produce a 2006 SS Signature Series Edition for the Montre Carlo ??? Just like we had a Tony Stewart one for 2005, a Dale Jr for 2004, etc... Thanks Read More...
My Thoughts
I agree that the Monte Carlo isn't anywhere near the numbers the Impala is in unit sales, but I think the Monte was specifically designed for the NASCAR circuit. I don't think the Impala even comes close as far as the aerodynamics of the body are concerned, and unless GM is prepared to abandon their NASCAR presence, they will continue with the Monte nameplate. So, then don't buy a RWD as your primary car. Last time I looked, all Chevy cars except the 'vette are FWD... so you have your choice. Now, let the rest of us who favor the better handling characteristics of RWD have at least ONE model in the Chevy lineup!
