the monte carlo that i purchase has been great. This car gets great gas mileage 29mpg on the hightway. my car also has a sun roof which adds comfort the leather seats are comfortable the car is easy to take care of it handles well on the road and huge the road and curves I would buy one again.

leather seats, sunroof and over head weather,information center. Ilove about everythingon this car

Review

Bought my first Monte SS in 2002 and dubbed it the Batmobile. After seeing and driving the 2004 supercharged SS, I couldn't resist purchasing it. To top it off, I got a great deal on a great car! The ride is comfortable and exhilarating, the power exceptional and the subtle changes that were made between 2002 and now make my new Monte Carlo a pleasure to drive.

Favorite Features

The power when I want it is my most favorite feature. The chrome exhaust pipes and ground effects make me quite pleased as well.

Suggested Improvements

The improvements I felt were needed to be made to the 2002 SS have been made to the 2004. Can't see anything as of now that I can comment on needing to be improved.

This car is a beast its black with the silver trim I get nothin but compliments The car handles excellent for its size and accelerates like a rocket cruising at 40mph lean on the gas blink your eyes and your doing 80 Stereo cranks if you buy one load it up with all it offers you will NOT be disappointed.

Heated seats sun roof and of course the supercharged V6 hands free cell is cool too comes with ONSTAR package

Suggested Improvements

MORE HORSIES Grand Prix has 260 why not the Monte?! I'm gonna fix that with a jet chip, cold air intake and a K&N filter

Love my Monte SS

Review

For the money, the looks and performance of this vehicle are great. This is undoubltedly the nicest car that I have ever owned. It has all the toys including the heated seats, onstar, and auto start function. While it's not as powerful as the turbo it's also not as pricey either. I fell in love with the look of the car, classy yet sporty. My all time love is my 66 GTO but it's not a practical daily driver. This car has it all!!!!

Favorite Features

I love having all the power toys plus the heated seats, auto start, moon roof.

Suggested Improvements

NONE-Great Car Wait-my daughter wants rear heated seats too!!

My newest Monte Carlo

I turned 100,000 on my 1997 Monte Carlo with no plan to sell. But I learned about the incentives, went out to get a Grand Prix and came home with a Gray Metallic 2004 Monte Carlo. It's an SS where the previous one was an LS - 25% percent more powerful. This car has 4- wheel disk brakes with ABS. I live in Michigan and really noticed the difference on ice and snow as my previous car (which I loved) had rear drum brakes. The stereo is awesome. I'm thrilled with the car, my last one made it to 92,000 without repairs and then needed a right front ball joint. Anyone from Michigan knows about the condition of our roads in the winter.

Favorite Features

Love the acceleration. Love the ride and handling. Love the stereo. The glove box has a metal hinge - my previous one had a plastic hinge, which I broke. The trunk has hydraulic lifts so you don't crush your junk in the trunk.

Suggested Improvements

I don't think they could have done a better job and if this one is as reliable as the last I'll be happy for a long time.

I AM REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS CAR IT ACTUALLY GOOD ON GAS UNTIL YOU START MAKING THE SUPERCHARGER KICK IN, IT'S VERY QUICK, BEAUITFUL BODY LINES I GET SOME MANY LOOKS AND EVERYONE LOVES IT

previously i had a 95 mc, but i drove her into the ground throughout college. i got this car for graduation. it was the only car on the market i was interested in (since the last camaro rolled off the line). i absolutely love it. rides great and millenium yellow gets lots of looks!

everything in this car is beautiful. good stereo, comfy leather, sunroof, you name it, the mc has it.

Suggested Improvements

i think the supercharger should add a little more power. with only 3.8l, it doesnt pick up as fast. maybe a rear facing scoop?

Supercharged a big PLUS

Review

Smooth ride except on bumpy roads due to suspension package, Supercharged version much better than either regular SS version. (Have owned both) Great seats & comfort and plush with all the toys. Only negative so far is the sound of the engine, very tinny like a Honda or Toyota. Need to get sound up to go with 240 HP.

OnStar, Heated Seats, Information center

Again, the sound of the engine is way below what the rest of the car speaks.
