My Most Favorite Car!
Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 2dr Coupe (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
We have enjoyed our car very much. It handles well & we love driving it. We get a lot of compliments! The quality is not so great. We've had this car a little over 2 years, and several things have not held up. We did prefer mag wheels, but did not have that choice.
Favorite Features
The style, color, sound of stereo, and the way it rides.
Suggested Improvements
Have a choice of rims, better quality products, type of rain guard. Other than that it's all good.

Perfect Compromise! Get One Now!

2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Supercharged 2dr Coupe (3.8L 6cyl S/C 4A)
Review
My wife has never let me forget about someone rear-ending me (actually a hit and run)and totalling her 1994 Cavalier Z-24. We ended up "replacing" it with a loaded 2000 LeSabre a couple of years ago. Both cars were great, but so far our Monte Carlo SS could not be a more perfect fit and compromise of both cars. Black leather on black is really cool and has already gotten lots of compliments from several after only a few days. The creature comforts are similar to a luxury car, yet the sporty features make it extremely fun to drive. The gas mileage is very respectable @ 28ish mpg! I hadn't initially pursued one with a supercharger, but I'm glad I found one. Very smooth/fun!
Favorite Features
This is a very road-worthy car due to its many features Chevrolet has incorporated. Many of the basic features (i.e. climate control, stereo, steering controls, electric seats) seem to be similar on many GM cars. GM works the bugs out and has a great product that you shouldn't have to worry about!
Suggested Improvements
My wife and I already miss not having "memory" seats, but it's not a big deal since I've just decided I'll be driving the car all the time! The sunroof seems to make a bit more noise than on GM cars where the roofs are "sunk" while in the open position.

Chevy has a winner. The only thing I would change would be rear wheel drive and a V8. I am a big person and this car fits me beautiful.Driving this car reminds me of 60's and seventy's. Very comfortably. Thanks Chevy.
Favorite Features
Appearance inside and out.
Suggested Improvements
V8 and rear wheel drive.

2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS 2dr Coupe (3.4L 6cyl 4A)
Review
This car has really suprised me. The gas mileage is excellent. I get an average of 400 miles to the tank. It cost me between $30 & $35 to fill up depending on the price of gas. The most it costed was about $45. It holds 15 gallons if that helps. The car is extremely comfortable and very sporty. Men love it!! So I highly recommend it to single women.
Favorite Features
Gas mileage, exterior looks and interior comfort.

It is the best car I've bought new so far. My only single concern is the market stinks for them. I've had two problems with it, the transmission made a hard bang when it was first put into reverse and given the gas, and the front baring in the driver side when out on a road trip to Mardi Gras this year and that was a 1200 miles on way trip.. Made for some loud humming!!! Otherwise I love the car, it's fun to goose it, Ive noticed several people stare at it (today a guy in a Silverado just stared at it when we were at a red light!) I love it. It's black with the silver trim.

I wish mine had a v8, need to retain value, over-priced

I have always loved performance cars, but since the late 70's "performance" wasn't affordable..Then I drove a 2004 Dale Earnhardt Jr. signature series, supercharged Monte Carlo SS. Chevy has hit a home run with this one. Welcome back SS.
Favorite Features
3800 supercharged V6. Sport tuned suspension, 280 watt sound system

Monte Carlo 2004

This car is great and very reliable. I'm a single mom though of 4 children. I really need to get a larger car. However I love my Monte Carlo! This car is very comfortable even with my children in the car. 4 doors would be nice though.
Favorite Features
I love the tough sporty look of the car. It shows style and class. You will be respected driving this car.

I would love to have a Monte Carlo with a little more inside room. I understand if not possible because we could always buy a van huh? It just wouldn't be as cool. Parents want to look cool as well as drive a sporty stylish vehicle! Give us a Monte that will also be a family car with style!

This is my 2nd Monte Carlo. The 1st was a 2000 SS & I was planning on keeping it much longer but was offered a great deal on the 2004 Dale Ernhart Jr. model. I am a paraplegic & getting my wheelchair in & out is a must in any car. In the past, the car that fit best was usually a plain 2 door. Since I've had these last 2 cars I've had well over 100 compliments on them. That's felt real nice, along with the performance and reliability I'd have to say they have been my best cars in 32 years of driving.

This is my second Monte Carlo SS! I purchased a 2000 and had zero issues with it. I liked it so well that I purchased a 2004. I'm a sales rep and put many miles on a car. It drives and rides just like my uncle's Cadillac Eldorado! I suspect that it sits on the same platform. I've seen pics of the 2006 and think it's awesome...I'm making plans to get it as soon as it hits the market.
Favorite Features
The size, the drive and handling.

Wouldn't it be cool to see a V8 in this bad boy??

Best Vehicle I Have Ever Owned
Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Supercharged 2dr Coupe (3.8L 6cyl S/C 4A)
Review
I purchased my Dale Earnhardt Edition SS Supercharged vehicle almost brand new (It had 4,733 miles on it when I purchased it). This car is awesome! It provides me with brisk acceleration from any speed, and the ride is very smooth! The interior is roomy, and I need all the room I can get (6'0 215). I can stretch out, and it is a comfortable car (not to mention fun) on long road trips. It is very reasonable on gas...I average about 27.5 MPG in a combination of city and highway driving. The car is absolutely beautiful when you finish washing and waxing it! I plan on keeping this car for many years to come!
Favorite Features
Supercharged 3800 engine, XM Satellite Radio, radio controls mounted on steering wheel, brisk acceleration, and the spacious interior.
Suggested Improvements
Doors are too large and bulky for a midsize vehicle, but other than that, this car is a definite keeper!!
