1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 2 Dr LS Coupe

Review

Ride and comfort are great. Mileage is 31 hghy/22 city. I have 84,000 mi on it and the lony problem was a shorted spark plug wire, and a clip snapped off the inner door lock. Console compartment door hinge (plastic) keeps breaking.

Favorite Features

Handles great. Great sounding factory radio. Comfort. Paint is as shiney as when new.

Suggested Improvements

Drove a 2002 M/C SS. They should have put the supercharged 3.8 engine from the Pontiac Bonneville in before calling it an SS. The 4.3 would have been even better. Squeak in steering column when cold, (winter).

Super performance good mileage sharp looks. Great vehicle. Only problem, throttle cable broke seems common

Review

A good car all around, better than the compitetion. Love the styling and preformance of the engine for the weight of the car. Lots of trunk space.

Favorite Features

Trunk space, engine preformance on low end, overall styling.

Suggested Improvements

Alternater problems need fixing (been replaced 3 times in 100000 miles), cd player is rough.

Timing belt shredded, which in a sense bent my engine all to hell. I wont replace it or get it fixed. Tranny was bad, brakes were bad, exhaust needed a new one (not major) but all in all this car was way too much trouble for what it was worth. Gas mileage was terrible as well....

Nice interior, decent performance

Suggested Improvements

quieter engine (done), rear wheel drive, V-8, more ponies, more aggressive design, manual tranny

Very user friendly. Comfortable. And really sticks to the road. Our little girl is 3 now and getting her in/out of the back seat is not very easy. My wife and I both like this car too much to trade it in. So we'll just stick it out.

Favorite Features

nice lines inside and out. I really like the seats and steering wheel.

Suggested Improvements

Put in suicide doors on both sides for easier entry and exit of back seat

only kept it for a while. High cost in manitnance. Z34 not recommened in 95.
