How to Set Clock

I've recently purchased a 2000 Chevy Metro LSI 2 door hatchback with 4 cyl automatic & 68K miles. Love the car but can't figure out how to set the clock on the factory am/fm stereo radio. The owner's manual is absolutely no help, since there are no labeled buttons on it that indicate "hours", "minutes" or "set". Can anyone out there help? Thanx. Read More...

Just one girl's experience: Back in the day, I drove an 89 Chevy Sprint for 11 years, a three cylinder, manual transmission with air conditioning. I regularly got 54 to 56 mpg, down to 48 if I used the AC. Really needed this vehicle at that time, because my daily commute was 122 mi. Sometimes got 400 miles per fill-up. "do not give the ac parts to dealer as they have value and can be sold by them. your compressor probaly needs a 30 dollar clutch to be as good as new. " My question is : Do you think is a do it yourself job to install the 30 dollar clutch or the bearing that went bad on my AC?? My AC makes that noice ,I disconected the belt, noise no longe exist but I know I have the bearing problem ... Read More...

the air conditioner compressor has a bearing in the pully wheel that can wear out and they do. when this happens it will lock down motor unless the belt is removed. the starter can be over heated and destroyed by trying to get the motor to turm over when it will not. any thing over about 9 seconds or continually trying it with out sufficent cooldown between tries{about ... My car wouldn't start and was making a loud scary noise. I had it towed to a dealership. They said that my air conditionoing compressor broke and that I can just remove the system to bypass it....it has locked up my engine. We just bought a crashed 2000 Metro at auction, it was pretty strip down, no fuse box, distributor, or keys, we have put it all back together except for the airbags, but it will not start it gives the first spark and does to start, but then it it stops sparking, we had the computer check and it is fine, if we check the distributor off and move it at a fast rate it sparks well, ... I have a 2000 Chevy Metro that only gets about 32 to 35 MPG mixed city (30%) and highway (70%) driving. I thought I should get atleast 40 mpg. I have a 1.0 L L3 Engine with a manual transmission. It does have air conditioning but I dont use it. Is the air conditioner killing my gas mileage, or do you think that I have something wrong with my engine that needs to be repaired? ... Read More...

I have a 2000 metro with 5 speed and 4 cyl....it was difficult to find, but i managed to buy it brand new out the door for $9855.43 @ a Chevy dealership in Austin Texas!!! [This dealer tried and tried to sell me a Cavalier, but i did not want one] It has been a good car, and averages about 39-41 mpg mixed. Currently it has 55,000 miles and is still going strong. my parents have two metros, a 94 geo and 00 chevy. both are white two door 5 speeds. the 94 has 111k miles and the 00 56k. both have had no problems but then again with 3 cylinders no power windows, locks, steering, mirrors, radio, what can go wrong? the 2000 doesn't even have and air conditioner and to cut corners even more chevy/suzuki didn't even put a light switch ...
