Best 500 dollars I have ever spent.

2000 Chevrolet Metro
This is a great little commuter car, easily I get 43mpg on the highway (unless it's really windy). Mine has the 3 cylinder 5 speed that puts out I think a little over 50 horsepower but it's okay for the size and weight of the car. I've owned this car for over 6 years and I still get offers around 900 dollars or more (resale value is great). Very cheap and easy to maintain, I spend … less than 30 dollars on an oil change. Seats have really held up, only driver side has slight tears, nothing major. Road noise isn't the worst but it also isn't very well insulated. Safety features such as ABS or traction control are non existent but I have dual airbags. 270k miles and still going strong, burns little to no oil at all.
