The Malibu Maxx is underrated!
Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx LT 4dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I have been driving my Malibu Maxx for almost 4 years now. I live in the Buffalo, NY area so I'm used to driving in poor weather. This car did excellent in the bad weather. Also the features in this car are unbeatable. Cruise control, remote start, heated seats, OnStar, XM radio, adjustable pedals, front and side air bags, traction control, 6 cd changer, car information computer, power sunroof, 30 MPG. The best part, not one thing went wrong in the time I have had it! Flawless! This car is a sleeper for sure!
Favorite Features
Heated seats, XM radio, remote start, great sound system, good on gas, 30 MPG
Suggested Improvements
Build more of these great cars. I do not work for Chevrolet or GM. I am just a satisfied customer!

I love my 2004 MAXX
Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx LS 4dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I had been driving Saabs for years before I bought this Maxx. I had also owned Mercedes, Corvette, Tahoe, Cadillac and Chryslers. This Maxx is the perfect car for me at 62. I am 4ft 8in tall and the adjustable pedals and steering wheel afforded me to drive for the first time in many years without a cushion and being forced up against the steering wheel. The mileage on freeway is avg 37mpg! Great handling. Kick's butt when you punch it to pass, cruises at 70 like a dream. I love the hatchback for hauling stuff. All are comfortable in seats/roomy. The price was affordable. Next time I will get leather heated seats. I love the lines. Not one hiccup yet! I love this car!
Favorite Features
Cockpit is very roomy. Easy to reach instruments. Heater is great in Wisconsin winter - fast. Love the adjustable steering and pedals. Like hatch deck. Hides things in trunk from view. Remote start is great. Great Stereo/CD. LIghted make up mirror is handy for me. Skylight in rear seats.
Suggested Improvements
Too much torque for weight. When you punch it to pass has a tendency to fish-tail on front wh/drive. Back seats are curved so when you lay flat there is not a flat surface. Windows freeze shut easily. Should have atandard electric passenger seats. Shouldhave standard fog lamps.

I love my Maxx
Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx LS 4dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 4A)
Review
When taking the speed higher I feel like I am in a jet! The ride is very smooth on and off the freeway. When I first purchased my Maxx I was the only one in town who had one so I had a lot of curious stares and questions about it. I have nothing but great things to say. The first time I drove it in a test drive I fell in love with it and no other automobile I tested could match its comfort or smooth drive.
Favorite Features
The spaciousness, the gas milage on the freeway, and smooth drive.
Suggested Improvements
Better gas mileage in town.

Versitle Car
Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx LS 4dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Change the seats and the steering and this would be an awesome and versitle family car. The driver's seat is very uncomfortable, and I have had four major steering repairs. The flexibility, leg room, and adaptability are the best I've seen on a car in a long time. I average 28 mpg overall in a large car with a 200 HP V6, which makes a family car economical and powerful enough to satisfy most people.
Favorite Features
The adaptability and versitility make this very functional car. The Maxx has more leg room than my neighbor's Cadillac. The economy and power combination make for a nice car.
Suggested Improvements
Revamp the steering, and greatly improve the seat comfort, and this would be a great car.
Great car for teens

Review
This is a great car to carry things as well as people with good fuel economy. It has great pick up and can pass with ease. I drive 120 miles to work everyday and I never feel like I'm in a small car.
Favorite Features
Get up and go!
Suggested Improvements
Upholstery needs improvement. It claims to be leather interior, however, the inside portions are not, only the outer edges are.

Review
Very well designed, I get nearly 40 MPG on the highway. All in all even around town using the factory installed remote start, over 25 miles per gallon! Electronic steering handles like a dream. Can't wait to get a new 2007!
Favorite Features
MPG, remote start, heated seats, lots of room, elecctronic steering
Suggested Improvements
Even more MPG?! As far as I can tell that car is close to perfect! Maybe a little suede/stain protection on the lighter seats.

I love It!

Review
I have had my car for 2 years now and I really love the style and the way it drives. I've only had 1 mishap with my car and that was with the automatic light system. I ran out my battery by leaving my car on and forgetting about the lights. That has been my only mishap.
Favorite Features
I love the entertainment package that included the DVD player. It is great if you have kids that sit in the back seat.
Suggested Improvements
As for the entertainment package. I hope that they offer a front seat passanger DVD for those sitting in the passanger seat. That would be a nice feature.
Just a great car

Review
This car is awesome. It has so many great features that come standard. I've always recieved compliments on the sound system, and spacious interior. I was rear-ended and the car that hit me looked like it had been in a major accident, while you couldn't tell that my Malibu had been hit. This car was involved in an unfortunate incident where it went over a 35-40 ft enbankment and landed on its nose. There were 2 passengers, one wearing their seatbelt and one not, they were both able to walk away from the accident, and when tow trucks arrived and got all four wheels on the ground, the Malibu started with no problem. There's no arguement that this is just a great car!
Favorite Features
DVD player, moonroof, standard remote start, folding seats, spacious interior
Suggested Improvements
Radio controls in the steering wheel

Great ride
Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx LT 4dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 4A)
Review
My family just completed a 900 mile round trip from Colorado Springs to New Mexico. The V6 Maxx averaged 70 mph and achieved 35.6 mpg going and 33.6 coming back. This trip included mountain driving. XM satellite worked great out in the mountains. I love this car. I would buy another.
Favorite Features
The telescope steering wheel and adjustable pedels and rear seat make it easy on my 6'2" frame.
Suggested Improvements
My only complaint is the sun visor is too small.
