    With regards to the four cylinder engine problems, most of these issues tend to be with the Chevrolet Equinox. I wonder if these engines come from a different engine plant????????     I didn't know that the 2010 Tuscon got that much MPG fuel economy. I used to own a 2001 Sants Fe 2.7L, 6 cylinder automatic AWD which only got 18 to 19 MPG overall fuel economy. Does the 2010 Tuscon get 32 MPG because it has a 4 cylinder engine in it?

    It's quite possible that the 2010 Fusion/Milan with the new 2.5L 4-cylinder will match or even slightly beat the Accord and Camry 4-cylinder automatic models. Accord and Camry models with the 4-cylinder/5-speed automatic powertrain have EPA mileage ratings of 21mpg city and 31mpg highway.     Mazda is building their 3.7L in their own factory and in rather small volumes compared to Ford's 3.5L/3.7L which is going in the MKS, Flex, MKX, Edge and MKZ exclusively - that's close to 400K vehicles per year right there.
