Is it too early to begin discussing the new Malibu? Motor Trend has a review in its September issue and yesterday I saw a 2013 Malibu on the streets of Boston. It looks nice but anonymous, perhaps too much of a Camry clone. Nothing like the impact of the 2008 - 2012 Malibu. I know change is inevitable but in this case it is not for the better.

Glad to hear it was covered, but lets evaluate this warped rotor stuff. You got a problem, you have to deal with getting car serviced, maybe a loaner or not. Inconvenience. They turn your rotors, but still not as good as it was. They've removed metal from them and you can usually only do this once, so next time you have to buy new ones, most often not covered under warranty, ... Read More

The turn signal volume is too low for me to hear if the radio or climate control fan is on. The Chevy dealer said: "Sorry, but that is the way the computer is programmed and the volume cannot be increased." Anyone else have this problem and do you know of a solution? Thanks, Uncle Dewey

Two GM cars of mine purchased new (1997 Pontiac Grand Am -4cyl. and 2002 Chevy Monte Carol 3.4L) both had warped rotors around 15,000 miles and again at 36,000 miles. Thanks for the feedback. Got points and information. So far the lowest quote I have got for a 2008 Chevy Malibu LT1 has been $18840 including destination and TTL. It sounded like a good price. I will go test drive it this weekend and see if I like it. I really like the styling interior and exterior. Lets see how it drives.

A mazda 3 i or s sport sedan is about the same width as the malibu, height and is 14" shorter. It seems to have the comparable dimensions as to hip and leg room. The 2.4L 4-cyl and 4-speed only, cloth seats, 17" chrome wheels, extra small chrome and painted touches outside, power features, and steering wheel audio controls.
