Luminas are the best

1997 Chevrolet Lumina 4dr Sedan
I bought my chevy lumina from a man in 2010 for $600 with 91124 miles on it and the only thing i have had to replace is the head gasket. I only paid $380 to get that repaired. they should have put cd players in them instead of tape players but i was gonna but a new one anyway.
the seat control, the a/c, the trunk open button, the roominess
if they were still being made cd players should be installed instead of tape player
Wow that is amazing u only paid 600 dollars for a 98
with less than a 100 thousand miles u got that car for a steal i bought a 97 for 16 hundred and it had 127 on it and i put about 30 thousand miles on it and so far i put only 500 dollars worth of work into it and thats including oil changes
my 1998 lumina, great car. First 3 mos, at 64K miles, it needed a radiator, , then 5 months later an upper manifold, then later a starter, and many many many many car parts. The left window motor is gone, none of the power windows work most of the time, the interior is cracking everywhere, can't find out when to do a routine water pump change, has an oil leak where you have to lift the engie, another $800 plus, if it needs the oil pan, . But all in all, I paid so little for it and it runs great as it is a police special sold at an auction, so they are run hard.Parts wear, and if I had the money, I would redo the interior and
get it painted and all the small dents fixed, even the spotlight. Great car. Even gets 20 mpg with the a/c if you drive it right. Oil runs clean so cahnge it before it gets dirty and always do the transmission oil and filter. Even the rearend oil can do a change once in a while. I Love my Lumina. Got hit in the rear last Christmas eve, 2010, by a Sierra 1/2 ton, wife was injured, damage was only 2 grand though to the car, the wife, lots lots lots lots more. Love my Lumina too.
