Interior needs re-engineering

Vehicle

2011 Chevrolet Impala LT 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Interior needs HELP! Center console lacks good design. No place for park money. Cup holders inadequate & not well placed. Rear seat center head-rest obstructs rear view (inside mirror ).The stamped metal parts of front seat are very sharp. (don' try to slide anything under the seat.

Best Features

Pleasing exterior design.Good quality assembly. Gold mist paint pleasing. The on-board computer system and read-out very helpful. Great price

Worst Features

Get rid of the GOODYEAR tires. Remove rear seat center headrest. Better arm-rest use design.Re-design center console. (2008 Camry good ideas.

I purchased a 2011 Chevy Impala Sedan LT on December 16th, 2010 in St. Charles, Il. From day one the car pulls to the right. They have replaced the tires, front-end alignment, put in a new power steering unit, replaced the struts and caster camber, and several other repairs. GMC / Chevrolet refuse to replace the car. It has only 300 miles on it most of which has been put on by the dealer. One would think that GMC would want to take back this car if for no other reason than to use it for research purposes. I've paid for the car in full and they(the dealer) has had it in their garage doing repairs on it for over a month. Its time to get a good law firm involved which is where I'm headed. What should have been a pleasant experience has turned out to be a nightmare.

Not even 3,000 miles on it and the "Stabilitrak Needs Servicing" showed up on the message screen today, I just went through that crap with my GMC Yukon XL Denali and that had a whole lot more miles on it when it started. Each time I pull in to my driveway the suspension gives me a "clunk" sound. I am not a smoker but incase you like to use the ashtray for loose change, etc. there isn't one and just try to plug in your phone charger to the port under the dashboard and over the console, it's a contortionist position to say the least, you wouldn't even know it was there until you sit in the back seat. The center head-rest on the backseat is a real pain in the butt because you cannot see anything our of the rear view mirror except for the spoiler on the trunk lid.
