I have a 2005 Chevy Impala, and when I go to take off, I hear what sounds like water sloshing. It sounds like it is behind the glove compartment. I don't know if it is water in some sort of drain pan that won't drain or what. Does anyone know what this might be and how I could stop it? Thank you in advance!! Read More...

My '05 Impala has missing paint spots on the hood but it is not like a typical paint chipping. They are like droplets of paint that have come off in perfect little circles about the size of small peas. Chevy (Impala) has a very poorly designed plug on the back of the interior rear view mirror, it seems very loose. Try (gently) wiggling that plug during the time when your problem arises. I had a very similar problem with my 2005 Impala. My sensor that darkens the rear view mirror (from cars behind me) wouldn't work, nor would the reading lights in the mirror itself. ... Read More...

My interior rear view mirror went up in smoke one day, and since that time I've had a never ending battle with my lighting system. There are 5 wires going to the mirror. The mirror has a left and right reading light, a sensor aimed at the rear window to automatically dim the mirror, and another pointing straight ahead on the front of the mirror. I purchased the 2006 Impala new in Nov 2005. I've had this problem the past few winters, but just now thinking about it since it was chilly this morning. The heat works great until I stop, then it just goes out. Air is still blowing, but no heat. Soon as I go, the heat starts working again. If I stop at a redlight I freeze until the light turns green. Hi I have a 2005 Chevy Impala, and just recently (now that it's getting cold out) found that the driver's side does not get warm air if I put the heat on. Hi! My Check Engine Light is on, and I went to autozone and they said it was code P0455, and they said to try the gas cap. I replaced the gas cap, but the light is still on. Will the light go out by itself after I replaced it, or do I have to use the diagnostic tool to reset it? What else would typically cause this code? Thanks! Mike Read More...
