Hello, I have a 2003 Chevy Impala with 112,000 miles on it that is exibiting similar issues. It overheated on me in the fast food drive through a couple of nights ago and the radiator was very low on coolant. BIG question. I have a 2004 chevy impala. All of a sudden the radio stop working. I can still see the time and what is playing on the radio but there is no sound. Not even a chime coming from the door, or the low fuel light or anything. I have a different engine but had a similar problem with extended cranking and for me it was the crank position sensor. We have 2 Impalas with the 3.8L. The 2001 now has 103k and the 2004 has 120k. In Sep-06 at 92k the 2001 suddenly started cranking longer to start. This car had always started on 1 crank. The problem started 1 week before my 6yr/100k extended warranty ... Read More...

I have a 2004 Impala LS with 81,000 miles. Recently, I had it in the Chevrolet dealer shop to have the some work done on it. They came back and said the hub bearings needed to be replaced and one tie rod.
