Review

Love IT! I had always wanted one and after looking at and driving the Impala, I knew it was the car for me. I don't know of anything about this car I don't like. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a new car.

I like the way it corners.

Suggested Improvements

I can't think of any improvements for the Impala.

Review

Glad to see the Impala back. Very nice driving, handling, responsive car. Fun to tour around in. Looks nice.

Favorite Features

Nice clean interior. Simple, basic and without clutter. Easy operation. Ignition back on the dash. Tail pipes. Low profile wing. Comfy leather seats. Satellite Radio.

Suggested Improvements

Need to get the Corvette V-8 back in this thing. Then you got a true Impala. Come on GM, put the muscle back in this car.

Second Impala

This is the second Impala I have owned. The other was a 2001. Needs redesign but this has been an excellent value. I used my GM card rebate to save $2,200 after I made the deal. (You must not carry a monthly balance on your card to save any money). Looking forward to my third. The first Impala had a leaking seal on the front after 10,000 miles. The current Impala has 12,000 miles and has not been back to the dealer except for oil changes

Review

Good car with nice standard features for a decent price and mileage for a large room car. It looks small on the outside, but feels big on the inside. Love the dual climate control feature.

dual climate control, on the wheel cruise controls, trunks access through back seats

Suggested Improvements

standard cd/cassette player, improved map lights. Improvements on data console. cupholders in the back.

Review

I love this car! I have owned a lot of cars, so it's hard to say this is the best of them, but it is certainly among the best. It is good looking, tight handling, and I drive the base model. The Impala is a lot nicer than the Monte Carlo. It has better gas mileage, more interior and trunk room , rides better, and handles just as well. I was reluctant to buy an Imapla as there a million of them on the road, but now I understand why it is so popular. I think it beats most of the imports too. I also drove one with 110,000 miles on it, and it drove just like mine with 22,000 miles.

Good looking, nice stereo, comfortable, roomy, good gas mileage, reliable

Suggested Improvements

Cup holder too far back in ceter area, my elbow is always hitting it while driving, am/fm/cassette/cd would be better than leaving cassette off.

I have had my Impala for four months and I think it is a very fun and reliable car, so far. It is so comfortable. My family loves it, especially my son. It is great on gas and handles well. I look forward to the future with my car.

The radio/data system is great!!

Great car at an awesome price. I expected to have to buy something more along the lines of the Cavelier but was able to buy the Impala and it is a joy.

MPG, Trunk size, size of interior, safety, price, comfort.

I OPTED TO WAIT AND BOUGHT MY "LS" IN 2005 WITH ALL THE REBATES. THIS CHEVY SCREAMS ON THE ROAD(GREAT ON THE ROAD) IT SCREAMS INSIDE(SUPERIOR STEREO SYSTEM) AND IT SCREAMS JUST SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY (CORVETTE TAIL END WITH THAT SCOOP). AVERAGED 23-M.P.G. ON MY FIRST TANK, THE MINUTE I GET INSIDE OF MY LS, I CAN LOOK UP THROUGH THE SUNROOF AND THANK GOD I GOT THIS CHEVY, IT IS PHENOMENAL WITH ALL THE STANDARDS, DON'T LIMIT YOURSELF, GET THE LS VERSION AND GET THE UPSCALED SUSPENSION AND EVERTHING WITH IT. POWER, PERFORMANCE, EASY TO DRIVE, GREAT TO RIDE AND CAN LAY DOWN IN MY BACK SEAT. LOT OF VALUE FOR THE MONEY AND IF CHEVY KEEPS THIS KIND OF MENTALLITY OF OFFERINGS, I'LL BUY ANOTHER..

MY FAVORITE FEATURE IS THE STEREO SYSTEM ALONG WITH THE GREAT GAS MILEAGE.

"LS" APPEARS ONLY ON THE TAIL OF THE CAR, INSIDE THERE IS NO INDICATION IT IS A "LS" SUGGEST THEY DRESS THE UPSCALE WITH THE INITIALS. I REALLY HAVE NO OTHER COMPLAINTS, JUST WANT PEOPLE INSIDE THE CAR KNOW WHAT I'M DRIVING. ALSO, "IMPALA" SPLASH GUARDS SHOULD BE STANDARD AND AVAILABLE.

i waited until i had 12000 miles before i wrote this review because i was so skeptcal of buying a gm car again. But, it's been over 6 months and 12000 miles, and everything has been perfect. Quiet, comfortable, solid build quality, and not one problem. the gas mi. are super for this size car- i avg. 32-33 mpg. mstly all hwy. This car is the best new car i've ever owned, even compared to foreign makes. Good job chevy- if this car continues to be reliable- i'll be back for another.

upgraded stero - sunroof, and tons of room.

Suggested Improvements

better quality dash plastic and seating material. Handling on base model could be a little tighter. If this car had a V-8- hmmmmmmmmmmmm!!
