2004 Chevrolet Impala Sedan SS Supercharged 4dr Sedan (3.8L 6cyl S/C 4A)

Review

The Impala SS is
a really sharp looking car for
starters. Sure, it's a 4 door sedan
but, it's not grandma's Impala. Start
the engine and you can tell that
there's fun going to happen. Nice
exhaust tone....and fairly subdued
until you punch it and watch the S/C
boost gauge; smooth power and torque
when you want it. I'm glad that Chevy
brought it back.....and you can get
one with no options (standard features
are plenty for me) for right around
22K, after all the rebates !

Best Features

The way it looks....smooth power from S/C engine, 4 wheel disc brakes, dual exhaust with a nice "growl." Nice interior.

Worst Features

Maybe more noticable SS badges on exterior.

2004 Chevrolet Impala Sedan SS Supercharged 4dr Sedan (3.8L 6cyl S/C 4A)

Review

I ride a motorcycle at work and also
have a Ford Crown Vic as a traffic
car. I would rather have my SS for
duty then the V-8. I know that it is
not rear wheel drive or a V-8, but the
supercharger pulls harder than my cop
car.

Best Features

It is very quiet inside. The engine, sounds system and the supercharger.

2004 Chevrolet Impala Sedan LS 4dr Sedan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Since driveing the 2004 Impala LS, it
is a pleasure to drive. The 200 HP
engine delivers great performance and
is easy on the fuel bill. The
transmission is smooth shifting upon
excelleration and stopping. The ride is
smooth and comfortable. Plenty of
desired standard equipment. Recommend
power seats, driver and passenger, for
a better selection of individual
desired comfort. Plenty of room inside
and especially in the trunk for
transporting cargo. I would compare
this vehicle to a Cadillac for a a good
deal of less money. Insurance is quite
reasonable for a good driving record
rates.

Best Features

All of the LS features and options.

Worst Features

None.

I ordered the Chevy Impala as my
company car at work. I have always
been a fan of GM cars. My Impala is
safe, comfortable, big and roomy with
great visibility and beautiful. White
exterior with grey inside. ABS

Best Features

Visibility, safe, CD sound system and roomy.

Worst Features

More Horses under the big hood.
