Great vehicle. Fun to drive. Lots of compliments. Have one drawback. Small noise in dash that can't be found yet.

From Large to small

I went from a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor AWD to the smaller HHR and was unsure that I could adjust to the smaller size and style, but I was wrong. This is a fantastic little vehicle. Snappy, quick response, with a great array of electronic features. I'm getting about 28 miles per gallon in city and 33 hwy. It's made well, with solid construction and plenty of room for a smaller wagon style. Plus the styling blows away the PT Cruiser! Recommend to all that are looking for a really neat roomy concept style vehicle!

Been waiting for six months to purchase. Only driven 400 miles so far ,but very happy with the whole package. Traded a Focus. The HRR has more power and is very comfortable. Styling is great, and I like it much more than the PT Cruiser. (Wife has one and I have driven both)

Love my HHR

I just bought the HHR and it has a lot of nice standard options. It is a head turner. It gets very good gas mileage and drives like a charm. Fenders and doors line up very well which are important qualities to me. Paint job is excellent. Can't find anything wrong with it thus far.

Forgot all about the Matrix

2006 Chevrolet HHR LS 4dr Wagon (2.2L 4cyl 5M)

Review

It's so quiet and smooth, I sometimes forget how fast I'm going. After driving it and the 2005 Matrix, there was no comparing the ride. It's also much more comfortable and stylish. It has more room in the front, and a nicely flexible cargo space. I was afraid it would be a lot larger in length, but it's only longer by 5 inches. The HHR is the car for me

Way to Go Chevrolet

Review

The vehicle is a lot of fun. Love the looks and the questions as to what vehicle it is. It does get confused with the PT Cruiser however, the room inside is spacious, the engine very peppy and the number of accessories is super. Really enjoy the performance of the vehicle. It handles the road very well. Extremely happy with the quality. Everything fits nice and there are no rattles or wind noises. It has an excellent fit to finish feel.

Very pleased with this sport wagon

The day I saw this vehicle, I called my wife. Within hours we knew this was the one for us. For a small car, it's amazingly big in size and attitude. The ride is far beyond what you'd expect, and it's creature comforts are the best in its class. Even though it only has a 4 cylinder engine, it's got plenty of pick up and go. I tested 0 to 60 in about 9 seconds, so it's just as fast as needed for what we'll use it for. The steering is light and responsive, which is great for us since my wife will be driving it on a long commute once a week. Highway ride is awesome, quiet and smooth. We love the drive by wire feel. It is so fun to drive we can't seem to find enough errands to run.

What a Grin

Review

It has been so many years since I have enjoyed the fun of driving. This vehicle took me back to my first driving experiences and made me feel like a kid again! It rides well, has enough power (is there ever enough?), and the grin factor is unbelievable. I actually did a cruise the first weekend we had it. The price makes it affordable, the gas mileage as painless as it's going to get, and enough room and comfort to last the whole week. Chevrolet hit a homerun on the first swing at bat!

HHR is the hot, hot roadster that Chevy just came out with and the vehicle I have been waiting for!! Awesome drive and awesome looks combined with great gas economy and I think I made a great purchase. Oh, I almost forgot, the vehicle only cost me $16,900....scary! Only negative was there were only 2 to choose from!! Luckily, black was one of the colors I was OK with. Awesome truck!

So Far, So Good

I've had my HHR for a few days and put a couple hundred miles on it so far. I just got back from 6 hours of driving around in Phoenix traffic, and I'm pretty happy. The ride is fairly smooth, the seats are comfortable, and the stock sound system is great when playing CD's and okay on radio, but the antenna seems weak. It's got enough power to safely merge into Phoenix freeway traffic, not an easy feat as the average in town speed is somewhere around 80 - 85 mph. It's no racecar, but it is peppy and fun to drive. I also enjoy all the stares from people trying to figure out if it's a PT Cruiser or what? If the Phoenix market is any indicator, the HHR is gonna be a hot seller.
