If you mean left and right passenger doors, then I can explain...van customization company's like "Explorer" order the express that way to build a custom conversion van. As far as finding a van that is not customized with those left and right side doors, I do not think you will find one. But, if your really want one, you would have to order factory direct. I'm interested in towing my 4000 pound boat with a 2008 or 2009 Chevy express. I just wondering if anyone tows with this van and how do you like the van for towing? Does the 5.3 liter engine develop enough torque to pull 4000 lbs? Thanks gmjohn

AWD Traction Control ligt

I have a 2009 Chevy Express 1500 AWD. My question is when I push the traction control button on the dash, there is no indicator light showing whether it is on or off. I have another AWD GM product that shows a lighted skid mark when it is truned off. Where would I find the indicator light on the Express or Savanah1500 AWD? Thanks for your help. Bum

I have a 2009 chevy express 8 passenger van. I have seen this version with a 4th. row (which I want to add to my van). Does anyone know if it is hard to add the 4th. row? How much does your pontoon weigh? I am considering getting an AWD Express or Savannah and currently have a 18' camper and tow it with a AWD Safari. Looking for more power and space with the V8. How else do you like your van? How hard was it to find an AWD? I have been looking locally for months and nothing.

hi, bill! i have a 2009 chevy express cargo 1500. What's the best way to install a rear seat for 3. i sure do want to leave ample space in the middle. i was thinking maybe installing it close to the end. can i get some advice in installing the seat securely? thanks. merlo

2005 AWD Express Explorer Conversion with Tow package, 5.3L AWD. I tow a 30ft I/O Pontoon most weekends May thru September, 25 to 30 miles each way. You really know it is there mostly at 50MPH+. From a stop you hardly notice. When I first tested a similar tow vehicle it had a 5.7L and was much better at the 50MPH+ speeds. Start/Stops were equal. Hope that helps.
