Re: DRL (daytime running lights) mine in my 2003 Chevy 2500 Express are staying on, even when the ign. is off, key out.. default switch switch has no effect. This obv. drains the battery big time. In the 2003 model, the fuses 19 and 20 in eng. compartment, can be pulled, but you also lose the front turn signals..pulling the lamp bulbs also is a fix, but the same filiment is ... Read More

I would like to have the ability to occasionally, leagaly, install one rear bench seat and seat belts for hauling kids and family. Re: Is Chevy Express AWD good in Snow? [adeneve]

From Anchorage Alaska; I have the full time AWD 2003 Chevy Express. It is great in the snow. I have some good snow tires and can drive circles around anything else on the road. 235/75-16 is the perfect size snow tire for the weight of this vehicle. Go any wider and run the risk of floating over the snow.

Dual Fuel (CNG) Experience
Written by: xsue1111 on Aug 11, 2003 10:09:52 AM
Responding to ehoefs posting. We just bought a Dual Fuel (CNG) Chevy Express 3500 Van last week. We too found no Owner's Manual Supplement regarding the Compressed Natural Gas system and how to use it. I've talked to Chevy, to Helm Publications (they say they are out of stock of the $10 item - although I'm still wondering if there even is such a thing) and to three supposed AFV (Alternative ... My Edmunds Vans newsletter arrived this morning with this tidbit: Chevy Express Updated for '03 Change comes slowly to the full-size van market, but for 2003 Chevrolet has updated the Express van with a new look, better access and better powertrains. For the first time, the Express comes with a 60/40 left-hand-side hinged door -- a big concession to the minivan crowd that allows pass-through access to the middle row of ... Read More

Axle Boots -- Anyone Else Having a Problem?
Written by: bkalinowski on Jul 26, 2002 7:18:51 AM
Hello Express folks, I'm writing with some concern to see if anyone else has had this problem -- I own a 2000 Express 3500, bought in Oct 2000. I took the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. In June 2001, at about 6000 miles, the right rear axle boot started leaking. The dealer fixed it under warranty, and had to re-do the brakes too, as they got corrupted by the oil ... Read More
