2011 Chevrolet Equinox LT1 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl 6A)
We have owned our Nox for 2 weeks. We drove most of our 3700 on a 3300 mile road trip. 2 adults and 3 children with luggage. We drive speed limits for the most part and got 20 to 23 mpg averaging 21.8 overall. The cars computer rated it at 21.8 and so did our manual entry.miles on
The heated seat option worked very very well and the 3 zone is nice too.
The lack of road noise
is very nice as well. We climbed a very steep hillside covered with packed slick snow and did not spin . Our family could not get more then 150 feet in their front wheel drive only car and had to back back down and park at the bottom. So the AWD is great for this instance any way.
Since we drove our new Nox on a trip right away the onstar navigation was very helpful. The instant milage feature assisted us in less jack rabbit takeoffs and to stick to the speed limit as wellOver all I expected less and got more so far from this vehicle. Gas milage expected was 18 and got over 21.
Auto rear hatch is slow and sticky. Rear camera is paneramic and takes some getting used too. Gas milage for V6 could be a little better . The learning curve to figure out the many featured this car has took us a couple of hours over all and the use of manuals. This is our first onstar car and this took a few minutes to set up as well.
This is my wifes car and when I told her I was reviewing it the only issue she could say she did not like was the location of the door unlock button.
