Vehicle2011 Chevrolet Equinox LS 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl 6A)
ReviewOnly have 400 mi on Nox but drives well, good enough speed for a 4 cyl AWD SUV (no racecar)---nice seats, interior in general but poor rear visibility-must use mirrors
and carefully watch the lane changes and backups-have a 2000 LeSabre Limited with 86K that gets good mph in town 20-21 and better over the road 28-31-maybe Nox will do better after 3-5K
miles on it-bunch of hype to put the 4cyl in and give a phony mileage rating to sell cars but everbody lies today---however, I need the AWD for the winters in PA and rear space is handy to carry things - bought it since I am an old WW2 vet and have a 56" replica of my ship to take to reunions, etc. which would not fit in car-price fair overal
Best FeaturesAll the goodies in base model instead of beating you up with 'extras'--such as --auto lights, folding seats, power driver seat, easy lift gate, large outside mirrors, good movable rear seat, good storage spaces, nice spot for my compact pistol in console slot, floor mats (instead of a $90+ charge as 'extra')
Worst Featuresto get power and good mph go back to tried and true 3.8l 6cyl for decent price---larger rearview window somehow--- understand that with the'rollbar' rig the posts have to be larger --put something else where 'fog lights' go instead of 'butt ugly' black plastic or make them avalable on all models as reasonabley priced 'extra'

cmomm again---now have2500 on Nox and got 27+ on 600 mi trip---mostly Interstate highways with some city----not ba for the big car with a 4 banger engine---good ride and handling with the electric steering (tht some complain about)however, I like the feel and operation (after pne gets used to the diff between hydraulic)---Chevy has a winner in this old man's (88)opinion----will report down the roadReport it
