I don't have an Equinox (came here looking for real-world gas mileage numbers), so I can't authoritatively say anything about the car. But I saw your comment about the headlights and wanted to say something. Have you checked if there's a headlight height adjustment knob/dial that is set at its lowest? Many cars have that to compensate the angle when there's heavy load in the back. If your car does not have it. or it is set at the normal level, you may be seeing the cutoff line for the headlights. Most newer cars have this cutoff line and this is a GOOD thing. You can see VERY well until the cutoff line, then nothing. This prevents stray light from blinding oncoming drivers and also helps in not blinding drivers in front of you (the stray light doesn't reflect off their rearview mirrors into their eyes). If you want to see further than a few car lengths, you'd have to use the high beams. As for looks, I think Equinox is one of the better looking crossovers out there. I'd put it slightly above average. If I were to buy a small SUV only based on looks, this would be on the list.Report it
Why do you say it's ugly after you buy it? Who does that?Report it
Wow is there anything you do like? Why would you buy an Equinox without even seeing it let alone driving it? Did you drive the 2010 Camaro first or did that just show up at your door too?Report it
