Great looks, quality interior, comfortable and quiet ride, adequate power.
Sound system and use of switchgear totally OK.
Great back seat room.
Build quality seems solid except chrome door trim along windows.
LTZ has great features but lacks homelink.
Memory on drivers seat needs more automation (button has to be held down while it moves, easy to hit the wrong button).
Gas mileage not anywhere near advertised and 600 mile range is a total joke.
Best case with soft, steady pedal is 29 highway at 55 mph, have really tried hard to get more by coasting, no hard passing, easy acceleration.
Gas tank can take 2
more gallons after (legal) auto cutoff (we can't fill our own cars in Oregon)
Leather seats with brownstone and black.
Nav system is easy to use.
Backup camera is excellent with great audio feature.
I like six speeds.
Switchgear and stalks on steering wheel are great quality; feel good and work well.
The 18" wheels are the best $250 option I have ever bought, really make a great difference in the looks and handling.
This is the best car in the smaller SUV segment and continually gets underrated or overlooked by biased Consumer Reports and other auto magazines.
The outstanding sales, however, speak for themselves.
Comsumer Reliability on the 2010 Equinox is the best I've seen on any car.
Both GM and Ford (and Chrysler on the way) will oertake the imports!
A-pillar on right too thick (I miss approaching cars and pedestrians).
Gas mileage much too low compared to ads (Honda products always get better than EPA).
Nav system lack color contrast for secondary roads in day mode (pale green with white roads, hard to see).
Outside temperature, time and mile scale on nave screen too small to read without prolonged distraction, not enough color contrast.
Storage sills in front doors too shallow to hold anything.
Center counsel storage is very large and hard to utilize with no laptop.
Transmission soometimes drags between upshifts and "clunks" on downshifts at slow speeds, sub-par considering rest of running gear.
Upshifts are reluctant in ECO mod
