I just got through test driving a new 2010 Chevy Equinox 1LT AWD. Sticker price was just over $27k. It had the in line 4 cylinder and was rated for 29 MPG on the highway. 1st impressions were a huge improvement over the 2009 and older versions of the Equinox! Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) for water leakage in 2005-2009 Torrent ,Equinox's. Dated Oct 8 2008 TSB 08-08-57-001A covers all types of water leaks in the vehicle and your water in the spare tire compartment. Have the chevy dealer check this TSB ,water is coming in from one of the seams . Probable needs to have new sealant applied to the seam area of compartment. Read More...

I went for the Equinox. I preferred its body styling and interior. It's seems to be built more solid than the Vue and further more... we see more Equinox than Vue's on the road, so... it must prove something. You can take over my existing lease. I love the car but with our move to Hawaii cannot afford the payments any longer. Lease is with GMAC and terms are $450.90 per month and expires 12/2009. I used to drive a lot for the company I used to work for so I purchased extra miles. It allows 18,000 miles per year but since moving to Hawaii a year ago, only have 33,000 miles on it ...
