  Real time 4wheel drive is when the front tires start to slip and the back tires kick in, AWD and 4wheel drive are the same But 4wheel drive has 4 hi and 4 low. Thats why the AWD equinox gets 29 on highways causes it is always on

  Well we have talked to the Chevy Lot and I think they are going to be able to help us out and make sure it gets fixed. I would rather have them work on it anyway, than a "transmission shop", since it is a Chevrolet Vehicle. I think we will be satisfied. :) :)

  Well we took it to a Transmission Shop and sure enough its shot... Prices start at $1595.00 up to $3000.00. Not sure what to do right now. Do I wait until Thursday and take it back to the Chevy Lot to see if GM can help out or do I get it taken care of at Aamco??

  Sounds RPM related, as rpm drops when you hit 5th gear (overdrive)....so I'd say either exhaust rattle or CV joint vibration. Not wheels because the car stays at same speed even if RPM drops because you are in a higher gear.

  Take the technician with you for the test drive. You drive the Equinox then you can go over the speed limit as you wish and he will still be able to hear or fell the vibrations, rattles and noise sitting in the passenger seat just as well. What you want is that he detects the problem, so no matter who drives, you'll get the same result at the end.

  The 2006 Chevy Equinox comes with smaller rear headrests...you can go to your dealer and purchase them and they'll fit in the 2005 Equinox

  Have you ever tried nada.com or kbb.com for invoice prices? Many sites availabe that show the dealer invoice. Remember dealer can still sell under invoice with certain incentives.
