2012 Chevrolet Cruze 1LT 4dr Sedan (1.4L 4cyl Turbo 6M)
Great job in engineering.
Have 6-speed auto and get 28 mpg commuting on side roads to work, got 38 mpg overall on 1400 mile treck from east coast to midwest, even 40 mpg on the flat interstates at 75 mph and the air conditioning blasting.
Handles very well, turbo kicks hard at ~30-35 mph to 65 mph.
Very good overall.
Better mirrors than that of the Impala and better acceleration and fuel mileage than the Malibu.
The turbo engine is great.
I can predict that most manufacturers will be offering smaller more efficient engines with turbos in more models very soon. Good size tires on alloy rims.
Space for light traveling and modest accomodations.
Great price compared to the competitors models.
Fun to drive even without the manual transmission.
More leg room for us big guys in front and back. Adjustable arm rests for front bucket seats. More cup holders. Rear disc brakes as option for more stopping power.
Grade A wear - A temperature tires on all models. Make the cargo net standard.
