2012 Chevrolet Cruze Eco 4dr Sedan (1.4L 4cyl Turbo 6M)
I have had the Cruze for 5 weeks and driven 1500 miles.
Very pleased with the car on all fronts--comfort, quietness, handling, economy, and available trunk space.
No defects on delivery; no problems encountered thus far.
So far I have averaged 38.3 mpg in a combination of interstate, urban, and exurban driving.
10 air bags, sonic rear alert for large objects/vehicles when backing, blue tooth hands free calling through On Star, exceptional quietness of car and smooth shifts with the 6 speed automatic; option of driving economically without the turbo boost or using the turbo to improve acceleration
My quibbles are minor:
extend the console arm rest by 1-2 inches; move the front cup holders forward of the shift to better accommodate driver; move the hvac thermostat control (driver's right knee tends to bump into it), eliminate the small storage area in the center top of the dashboard (it is virtually useless due to
its size), create a storage space for sunglasses, & have the rear seat backs capable of back angle adjustment.
I look forward to the hatchback model to see how it compares with the sedan
