2002 Chevrolet Corvette 2dr Hatchback (5.7L 8cyl 4A)
Review
Ride is excellent, as if on rails. Performance is outstanding as is handling. Some road noise from the stock tires, but it is tolerable. Six spped shifting is very crisp but could stand to be a shorter throw design. Overall review is that it is an excellent choice for a performance car!
Favorite Features
Would have to be the Head Up Display (HUD) and the Sport Seats.
Suggested Improvements
Front end spoiler is a little too easily scrapped on moderate dips (like driveways) would like to see it less susceptible to damage.

I have owned my convertible for four months. What a ride! HP,handling, comfort and style. What more could you ask for? I have 6500 miles in 4 months. Does that say enough?
Favorite Features
HP and Performance with Style!
Suggested Improvements
Interior could be upgraded, but not a expense of performance. I didn't buy it for the interior.
2002 Vette review
Vehicle
2002 Chevrolet Corvette 2dr Hatchback (5.7L 8cyl 4A)
Review
I have wanted a vette all of my life, and I am thrilled that it turned out to be such a great car! It was everything that I expected/hoped it would be. My only problems with the vette are as follows: 1) Worst cup holder in history. It sucks big time! The engineers that were involved with the cup holder should be fired immediately. I drive an hour a day, so I like to have a place to put my coffee. But to some, this may be no big deal. But C,mon! How hard is it to design a cup holder that can actually hold a cup??? 2) Interior design needs to be spiced up a bit. Not bad, but needs to kick it up a few notches.
Favorite Features
Performance. Drives and handles awesome. Heads-Up display is the coolest feature....especially at dawn or night.
Suggested Improvements
CUP HOLDER.....CUP HOLDER......CUP HOLDER....Did I say CUP HOLDER.

Review
This is my second Corvette, had a '99 prior to this. What a great car! Not only is it a great car that get's attention, but the hatchback allows me to haul all sorts of things without a problem. I've hauled a large coffee table, a treadmill, a 55 gallon aquarium with wood stand, and 2 large barstools (not all at the same time of course)! The car is very comfortable to drive for all heights and sizes, has every feature for comfort, and at an average of 22.3 miles per gallon, I am happy with fuel effeciency as well.
Favorite Features
Removable glass top, hatchback space, comfortable ride.
Suggested Improvements
Only issue thus far has been the rubber gasket on the glass top, sometimes doesn't go back in place properly, causing wind noise.

Absolutely fantastic car. This recently replace a Mustang Cobra as is by far a better car in terms of comfort and performance.
Favorite Features
TORQUE! Handing/Variable assisted steering. Interior layout esp. the waterfall trim.
Suggested Improvements
Upgraded interior materials.

2002 Chevrolet Corvette 2dr Hatchback (5.7L 8cyl 4A)
Review
I'm insane for spending so much on a car, but I'm glad I did. I've had my Vette 8 months and it's rock solid, no shakes or shimmies, and rides suprisingly smooth - smoother than the Mustang it replaced. It gets better gas mileage than the Mustang GT, too. It handles like a dream and everyone loves it.
Favorite Features
Power, handling, ride, dash layout, sound (engine and exhaust), seats - all perfect.
Suggested Improvements
Stereo needs more bass, cupholder is a joke, and it just needs more storage space up front.

I have had almost every sport sedan and got the Vette cause a buddy convinced me I need a weekend sports car. Frankly, I am surprised at this car...it is pure fun to drive. Man when you step down it moves...what a thrill.
Favorite Features
Styling both exterior and interior the wonderful v8, the heads up, the elegant and easy to use top.
Suggested Improvements
For $300 Chevrolet could class up the interior...better quality plastics...brushed stainless (look at a Town Car for this) or real wood option. Dont mess with anything else it is close to perfect.
i think gm finally got it

2002 Chevrolet Corvette 2dr Hatchback (5.7L 8cyl 4A)
Review
Well this is my fourth corvette and although the car has lost some of it's uniqueness, it is really superior to the others. The older ones I've owned; 74,76,81, had common flaws and repetitive problems. Dumb rattles, and poor build quality (fit and finish) have been engineered out.
Favorite Features
The heads up is pretty cool, and they've got a nice control layout. Roof storage is a breeze.
Suggested Improvements
Figure out a way to minimize the wind buffeting with the top off.
