I own a 2002 Dodge Viper and I feel the Viper sometimes never gets the credit it deserves and this article does it justice. It is a super mean car that is not real friendly but will get your adrenaline flowing. The new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has been named an "All-Star" by Automobile Magazine. The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) introduced a brand new award for a "truly exceptional vehicle that sets new standards". Comparisons that pick on specific items in opposite directions seem less than useful. Ask for more warranty but compare to cars with lower prices, maybe your not as close to the market as the car is. 1. Got 6/60 and 5/60 warranty on the two C5's we have, not a great additional cost and the 2002 has already recouped about half it's cost for an electronic module that is not ... Read More

Post #284 is spreading misinformation. Chevy might be playing catch up with some of its cars, but not with the Corvette. The LS2 is a 6.0 liter, not a 6.2 as described. Chevy has not taken a long time to come up with a 400 hp engine, not compared to other car manufacturers. From press release on GM and Ford programs: "For the Chevrolet Corvette, interest rates range from zero for a three-year loan to 2.9 percent for five years." Good way to save a couple thousand if you are in the market.
