I purchased my torch red coupe off of
Ebay. My first vette...after wanting
one for many, many years. The car's a
blast to drive, draws lots of attention
(both good and bad!), and is just plain
fun. Is it practical? No..it's a
vette! :) Get about 18 mpg in
town...21/22 on highway. Due to it's
low profile and high door jam, the
car's difficult to enter and exit for
someone who's tall or "large." Haven't
had any problems with it, mechanically,
and the car has almost 100,000 on the
odometer. Would recommend the
car...it's a blast!
Performance is amazing...has a great
public "draw"--always getting favorable
comments about the car, from young and
old alike. True sports car...
Parts are expensive....2-3 times what
you'd pay on your "normal" chevrolet.
Nothing cosmic about the parts....Chevy
charges more for them because they can.
