2007 Chevrolet Colorado Road Test Ratings

A weak engine, lack of interior features and questionable build quality make it difficult to recommend the Colorado.

Even the range-topping inline 5-cylinder is barely adequate to power the Colorado. Steering is fairly numb.

The ride feels bouncy. The seating position and space are as expected, but road and engine noise are borderline.

Feels like a basic truck interior with no innovative features. Two bed lengths are available, but upgrades such as adjustable tie-downs and power outlets are not offered.

Has a bold exterior shape, but basic fit and finish problems have been observed.
