Chevrolet Cobalt Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Cobalt prices in Rochester, NY

I just got back from a Chevy dealer here in Rochester NY who has an ad in the newspaper that say they are selling ALL 2009 Cobalts for $5000 off MSRP. They had 268 in stock at the time of the ad. This is a legit price with NO ad ons other than reasonable costs for T,T, and L. The $5K discount is available to ALL buyers with no requirements. They take $2000 off the price then ... Read More...

Chevrolet Cobalt Steering Problems

Re: steering problem- only 5 days 2009 Cobalt [George666]

If you find a cracked egg in a dozen or a rotten apple in a basket are you going to throw everyone of them in the garbage? Will have my 09 Sedan soon

I am new to the forum, and first want to thank all the contributors for their posts. It has helped me already to answer a few questions as I await delivery of my 2009 1LT Automatic with the MyLink package. It was ordered and delivered sooner than my bank account was ready for payment, so I must wait for a few days. I had my choice of a Cobalt, Focus or Elantra. My brother-in-law ... Read More...

Article Comments - 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Sedan XFE Full Test

Re: Article Comments - 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Sedan XFE Full Test [thegraduate]

I think the tirerack.com tire tests are quite good, and the customer comments can be helpful. The one caveat is that everyone there seems to hate OEM (came with the car) tires and in my experience, stock tires are usually much better than the ratings at tire rack would indicate. Several times I changed from low rated factory tires to highly rated aftermarket tires, ... Read More...

Frankly tires are tires. I couldn't disagree more, but that'd be off-topic. I suggest those interested in replacement tires check out somewhere such as tire-rack to see the differences. Read More...
