I was pleasantly surprised at the interior design ideas that went into the Cobalt. With four children, the weight sensing air bag control made this car a practical choice for our family. The seat and steering wheel adjustments made it easy for wife, husband, and teenager to comfortably drive the car. The cup holders actually hold normal-sized cups. The car handles very well. It is responsive to acceleration, steering and braking. For a smaller car it offers a satisifyingly quiet and smooth ride.
The driver's side seat adjustments and the passenger side air-bag on/off helped to make this car a solid fit for our family.
The Cobalt could use handles in the ceiling for the passengers. The ability to control the interior lighting for the gauges is too "automatic" and can't be overriden by the driver. The cloth interior especially around the door handles looks slightly ragged. The car could use an armrest up front
