Its my first brand new car being a recent college graduate. Overall my Cobalt has been pretty good. No problems since I have purchased it. Standard horspeower is better then most others in its class for the price. Interior noise is low and it handles well on bumpy surfaces. I think all American automakers have made great strides in improving the quality of their cars and if your in the market for a new car check one of them out and support our economy.
What I like most is the 7 speaker Pioneer system with the 10 inch sub in the trunk.
Poor visibility in the back because of high sitting end. Cheap interior plastics. Seats aren't the most comfortable. Handling could be better cornering turns can be pretty rough. Gas mileage isn't bad (25cty, 31hgw) but I think there is still plenty of room for improvement.
