I purchased a 2005 Cobalt in July '09 with 48,000 miles for my son to drive to High School, this being his senior year. The car has an air leakage problem at the rear seat side window seal on the passenger side. hello i went to get my car inspected and i cant get it done because the codes on the car and got them pulled and the codes are P0030,P0036,P0102,P0135,P0141,P0443 and i went to the dealer and asked them and they told me to change some parts which was the Evap Purge Valve and the O2 sensors 1 & 2 and the MAF and the Gas Cap. Well, let me start by telling you that the front seat is better in the Cobalt than in the Impala. Go figure! What I don't like about the front seat cushion is that there to short resulting in thigh pain (in my case) on long distance drive but in revenge you have enough leg room to change position once in a while, it helps a bit. When i bought it, it had 19 original miles on it.. i changed the oil every 3,000 miles, and spark plugs every 30,000 miles..never changed the transmission fluid till it started pouring out on a daily basis.but i guess after about 130,000 i changed the fluid every day.. ie.. it leaked out, so i poured more ... In my case it was the "Body Control Module." This was diagnosed by a mechanic in a small Chevy Dealer in Arkansas...but they didn't have the part and my wife didn't have time to wait. No other service people would listen to me (or to him.) I even had a movie on my cell phone of the car stalling out. They would not replace it until it happened to them. If yours is like mine ... I have sadly a 2005 chevy cobalt..keep in mind that as i list the problems that i deliver newspapers and I drive every day which for me adds up to 155,000 miles in 3 yrs 1.first thing that went wrong was the ignition module.. turns out that bosch plugs are destructive to a cobalt, they burn coil packs and modules out.. with ac delco i never have that problem... cost of ... grosloup. Me too. Have a 2005 `Nox LT & looking to downsize after my WWII VFW dad no longer has any needs in this world. I noticed in my new '08 that when I play a CD it can't recognize album names, titles, or artist. When using XM I still have issues with not being able to see the artist name and song title at the same time like my standalone did.
