2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged SS Supercharged 2dr Coupe (2.0L 4cyl S/C 5M)

Review

This car is a great all around buy! Gets good mileage, excellent performance for the money. Have only had minor wire harness problem, burnt thru the fuel injector wire, warnt covered. interior is nice, no rattles. I drive 88 miles round trip to work daily, and it's a curvy hilly drive, and I love it. Makes going to work a pleasure. Downside, cramped back seats for anybody other than a child. Rough ride on a rough street. Could use a 6 speed gearbox. Definitely recommend this car

Best Features

Supercharger! XM, OnStar.

Worst Features

Needs 6 speed gearbox. Larger engine, like maybe 2.4 or 2.5. Perhaps RWD would be fun in this rocketship as well. As it is, would be nice if stage 2 came standard.

2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged SS Supercharged 2dr Coupe (2.0L 4cyl S/C 5M)

Review

It is a fun and affordable car to own and drive, handles, performs, stops very well. It is comfortable to ride in and drive with 3 way adjustable drivers seat leather interior 7 speaker system. The handling, performance, style and cost of this car make this a poor man's Vette.

Best Features

Style, performance, handling, comfort, cost, dependability. With 18 inch wheels it looks fast when setting still. With metallic blue paint it is eye candy.

Worst Features

Stronger shifter, they will break. Stiffer rear spoiler. 6 speed transmission, more power and more gauges. Perhaps s/c v6 4.3 or 572 rear wheel drive.

2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged SS Supercharged 2dr Coupe (2.0L 4cyl S/C 5M)

Review

The car is great, handling is awsome. Stock tires don't last long but they seem to grip the road very well. Very responsive throttle and the supercharger is the best ever. I would recommend the car to anyone who ask me what I think of it.

2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged SS Supercharged 2dr Coupe (2.0L 4cyl S/C 5M)

Review

I had a 2005 ss/sc and it was a fun car to drive but after having to get the shift knob fixed 5 times and the seats starting to crack from the cheap leather, I went back to Honda a now own a 2007 si sedan and am not looking back. The fit and finish are so much better and it looks like a better built car.

Best Features

Fun car to take off in.

Worst Features

All of the Interior, no wing option, less plastic.

2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged SS Supercharged 2dr Coupe (2.0L 4cyl S/C 5M)

Review

I bought the car a little over a year ago, and have enjoyed every second of it. It gets up and goes without breaking a sweat, and the full leather interior is very comfortable. I havn't had one problem, except my sunroof is a bit noisy when it opens and closes. The car is fairly easy to modify, and with the aftermarket starting to pick up for them, there should be more and more running in the 13's.

Best Features

The red leather interior, and the overall sportyness feel and look.

Worst Features

Perhaps some thicker leather on the seats. Some don't like the large wing. Better paint on the wheels, and more wheel options.
