Review

This is the most recent truck we have
purchased and I am happy to say that it
will probably live on the ranch as long
as I do. Although the long wheel-base
makes it a pain to park sometimes, the
truck itself has got more pulling power
than we know what to do with. The 5.7L
Vortec engine was passing diesel trucks
and gas vehicles with bigger engines
when we had her weighed down with our
20 ft. Horse trailer with built in
living quarters. Overall, this has been
one of the best purchases we have ever
made.

Best Features

5.7 Liter Vortec Engine. Z71 Package

Worst Features

This truck should be equipped with a solid front axle on the 4x4 and Z71 package in both the 1/2, 3/4, and 1-ton trucks. The Rear axle on the 4wd 1/2 ton models should also be changed to the Corporate 14 bolt instead of the 10 bolt.
