1993 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Series K1500 Silverado 2dr Extended Cab 4WD SB

Review

This vehicle has been to the dealership several times a year since purchased new. The items range from electrical (doors, wipers, dash), brakes (master brake cylinder replaced 4 times, 3 times during the 3 yr warranty, in the past 9 years), alternator replaced 3 times, intake manifold has no gasket, repaired with silicone, rocker cover gaskets replaced, gages repaired, chrome tape on grill bubbled after 3 years, burns 1 quart of oil since new between 3000 mile oil changes, both side plastic radiator tanks replace because of cracks after 60,000 miles, water pump replaced after 50,000 miles, etc.

Best Features

Excellent ride for a 4 wheel drive, paint (Sandstone) is in brand new condition, excellent 4 wheel drive system.

Worst Features

Look at the imports. Toyota's Tundra would be a good place to start. Domestic American vehicle manufacturers must improve the reliability of their product!
