2004 Chevrolet Cavalier Special Value 2dr Coupe (2.2L 4cyl 5M)
I've only had it for 1 month, but
we've already put 2000 miles on it.
It's really not bad on gas considering
all the running we do. I got a 5
speed, and it's really easy to drive.
I'm very happy with it so far.
The cd stereo is really good for being
factory installed. I've gotten
compliments on the sound.
A better looking spoiler (more
sporty), and cup holders that don't
sit right infront of the radio.
We have had to have it in the shop too
many times already for little things.
We have not been happy with the fuel
usage, we thought it would be better.
The front console and controls are too
close together nearly causing wrecks
trying to adjust the heat/air/defrost
with drinks in the way.We paid way too
much for what we got.
It was new so all those problems were
covered by warranty.
Space the console and drink holders
farther back or place the air/heat
controls farther up. Put automatic door
locks in all vehicles for safety's
sake. I really miss that feature and
have gone off with my car unlocked
because someone riding in the back did
not lock their door.
I bought the car in June '03, and I
love it! It has an automatic
transmission, along with the Sport
Appearance Package (aluminum wheels,
spoiler and sport susension [think LS
Sport]), also has a sunroof. I love
how this car is faster than almost all
other 4 cylinder cars out there! I
love it, great first car for a
financially strapped college student.
140 hp Ecotec Engine, Sport Appearance
Package, power sunroof, great price
Make power windows and locks an option
on the base model
