2002 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 2dr Coupe (2.4L 4cyl 5M)
Bought mine in May 1999. Except for a failed battery, the car has exceeded expectations.(Even at 41000 miles, there's still half the tread left on the tires!) The look is still sharp despite dating from 1995, and, with routine maintenance and good care, very dependable. As long as the finish will last, this will be kept as a daily driver for years to come.
Large 4-cylinder compared to competition, Z24 looks, almost all options are standard, easy to maintain(oil filter placement, etc)
Mostly minor things: Could use a better-feeling shifter(haven't felt those in 2000-up models), lousy radio, trunk release makes a sound like someone rear-ended the car(In comparison, the Camaro's is much quieter and smoother in operation)
