Great Value for the Money

This is an all around great buy in the turbo 4 cylinder version. Handles responsively and interior trim is nicely appointed. I tested all of the crossovers and this rides better than a Rav 4 for a lot less money.

Be certain to check oil frequently.

I owned a 2013 and was pleased for about 1 year and a half. I noticed the oil level was constantly low. Did an oil use consumption test at local dealership. Was told that the vehicle was using 1.75 quarts per oil change interval. This was at 75,000 miles. Very disappointed with the motor. Found out later about the problems others were having. I do have a friend that still has one. She … stuck 1200 dollars into it last week.

Bad Engine never buying Chevy again

Ashley , Lawrenceville, GA, 03/10/2021
2013 Chevrolet Captiva Sport LS Fleet 4dr SUV w/1LS (2.4L 4cyl 6A)
I had the car since September 2013 and had to get rid of it March 2021. The car lasted longer than expected but came with many issues and required a lot of repairs but they car never left me stranded. It would always break down after I parked thank God. I'm grateful that it lasted as long as it did but wouldn't recommend purchasing this car.

Be careful. After 90,000-100,000 miles the engine may lock. The synthetic oil is a problem. No one told me. I had an oil cha6and 1 month later it broke down. Still trying to save money to fix it. Read reviews and see that others had the same problem. Was going to trade in and then the pandemic took my job. Now I'm stuck with a nonfunctioning car until I get back on track.
