The vehicle is very enjoyable to especially when you have the T-top model like my self.If they go back to making the camaro I hope Chevy works more on the interior and try to get an engine sold off the lot that runs on regular gas

I only had the car for 30 days, but the performance is awesome! Handling is much better than stock Z-28. SS's have variable springs, so initial suspension hits are absorbed nicely. The jaring kidney shots are not there unless your driving in Metro Detroit. Worth the extra bucks. For 25k will absolutely destroy mustangs from base GT (19k) to Cobra (32k)!

What's New for 1999

Traction control (Acceleration Slip Regulation in Chevrolet parlance) is available on all models in 1999, and on the Z28 ASR allows for some tire slip before cutting the power to the rear wheels. Electronic throttle control is newly standard on V6 models, a new engine oil-life monitor tracks specific driving conditions to determine when the next change should occur and a Zexel Torsen differential is employed in the limited-slip rear axle.

I got a 1999 Camaro and one of the rims is messed up. I've looked all over and cannot find a good price on a steel rim :( . I wish I could afford the Alum rims but I only need one so I can get it back...

Why didn't GM put a removeable panel under the carpet to access the pump from above? And you think this one is hard, the later Camaros and Firebirds have to drop the rear axle to drop the tank!!...
