Anyone know of any recalls for speedometer and fuel gauge going awry? I've been using my GPS to tell how fast I'm going and re-setting my mileage each time I fill up to figure out my fuel needs. I hear it might cost me upwards of a 1000.00 to fix them both.

2001 Chevy Blazer, bought used in June 2005 with 63,000 miles, now a little over 75,000. All recommended maintenence kept up in the past. Never wrecked. I have a 1991 S10 Blazer 4WD, 4WAL ABS brakes. I have the "ABS Blues" and it will cost about $800 to replace the EHCU (electro-hydraulic control unit) and bleed the 4-WAL ABS brakes. There are a dozen or so broken speedometer posts in the Blazer maintenance discussion but no real solutions that I saw in a brief skim. My girlfriend has been having this problem for the last year with her 2005 Chevy Blazer where she puts the truck in park (auto tranny obviously) and the rear window latch will pop open. I bought a 1995 chevy blazer, 4.3 liter, V6 vortec in July 2004. It had 105,000 miles on it when I bought it. Now it has close to 150,000.
