All is happy with the tranny. Dropped the pan and found only the typical fine residue. The pan had not been off before, and the original filter was still there. One thing I found interesting was I expected to only need five quarts to refill. Update - Dealer checked for codes, nothing there. So, dumped the programming from the PCM and did a fresh upload with all the current updates from GM. Shifting is much crisper, but the engine went into rev limit just as the tranny shifts out of first under WOT. How about this one? Transmission shifts great. Not too harsh, no slippage, shifts up, shifts down, no problem. Engages as soon as shifted into drive or reverse. No weird noises, no warning lights. Hi Lance. I think you are right about the sensor location near the converter. I usually go to Auto Zone for diagnosis and parts. They can tell you exactly where it is located and the part is about 1/3 of a GM replacement sensor. I buy Bosch replacements for my 96. It's a simple job. Just unplug it from the wiring harness and use an open end wrench. Start it up first and ... Read More...

I recently had my check engine light come on and upon checking it with a pocket scanner came up with a DTC P0155 (O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1). Rear Rotor removal 2002 Blazer

New to this, hope this posts OK. Looking for advice on removing the rear rotors on a 2002 Chevy Blazer, 4WD. I suspect that the emergency brake pads are holding the rotor on. My assumtion is this is a combination rotor / drum design and there is a small ridge that the internal pads are catching as I try to remove the rotor. Can anyone confirm and offer advice?
