odometer problems

I have a 2000 chevy blazer and I wanted to know if there is anyway to test to see if my odometer is working properly. I get an oil change every 3000 miles and I seem to be reaching that in less than a month. The oil change technician asked me if I went out of town because I'm coming back so frequently. I have a 2000 chevy blazer with auto climate control which stopped working altogether. The ac compressor runs all the time (cycles) no fan, the controls to change the vents (floor,defrost,dash)don't work, rear defog doesn't work, and temp doesn't change. All the fuses are good also. Yes, the trans guy has to fix it or sue his ass - this requires the engine be lifted up on a 4wd so it will not be cheap - hold your ground or most small claims courts are up to $5k now - check online and also make sure he did not bust the engine mounts too - probably did if the oil pan is broken (aluminum). I have a 2000 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4x4. This year when I started to use the A/C it worked fine but after I would restart the car the fuse ( IngE ) 10amp in the fuse relay box under the hood would blow. I can turn off the A/C, turn off the car, put in a new fuse, start the car, turn on the A/C and it works fine. If I turn off the car and start it back up the fuse blows again. Does anybody ... 2000 Chevy S10 Blazer LS: Just last night my steering started to bind at every turn. If it's a slight turn the binding is almost not noticeable. In a sharp turn (pulling in to a parking space) the truck almost stops. I was not sure how to post on here but I am having a noise from the front end of my 2000 chevy blazer. It sounds like some old bed springs squeaking. If you have ever heard that you know what I am talking about. The noise is there almost all the time. It does not happen more during bumps or turning. Do you have any idea what this may be?
