2005 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 4dr Crew Cab LS 4WD (5.3L 8cyl 4A)

Review

The Z71 Avalance is an "I can't believe its a truck truck". I've been on black diamond off road trails testing the 4WD and power, this thing is a goat. I've been on long freeway runs, it rides easily as smooth as the best domestic car. I've taken it hunting, and to important business meetings. It is comfortable in both roles. Now if we could do something about the gas mileage...

Best Features

Other than the great performance on and off road, I think the driver visibility 360 deg. with out blind spots is a real great note.

Worst Features

The significantly unexpected drawback to the truck is the gas mileage. Thankfully there is a 31 gallon gas tank, but you'll drink every drop @13mpg and 400 miles freeway unloaded.
