My wife wanted a four door, I wanted a
truck. We went looking for club-cab
pickups and she fell in love with the
new Avalance without body hardware.
The cladding was hard for her to take;
however, once she saw the new model
without it, she fell in love. What a
great vehicle. Rides like a Tahoe,
carries 5 comfortably; and, I can go
the the home improvement store and
take home anything. We also plan on
getting the optional tent and using it
The mid-gate feature, which allows you
to convert the vehicle into an 8 foot
Well, if there was a way to get the
mileage up into the 20's, it'd be
nice; however, I certainly don't
expect it from a large 4x4...besides,
my friend gets 12mpg on his Dodge, so
my 15-18 is just great!
