2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 4dr Crew Cab 4WD (5.3L 8cyl 4A)

Review

First of all I must confess, I used to
hate trucks and SUVs. After my
purchase of the Avalanche, I must
confess I really fell in love with it.
A lot of people complain about the
fuel economy and the exterior styling,
but I love the styling and buying the
truck knowing the fuel economy, so
that should not be the consideration
factor. The ride is excellent even
with the z71, the usefulness is
amazing with the convert-a-cab, and
most importantly, it is such a fun
vehicle to drive. I would recommend
this truck to anyone without
reservation.

Best Features

Convert-a-cab, fun factor, comfortable ride, able to haul so much of my junk and still seats five, side storage boxes, believe it or not, styling!

Worst Features

Torque management makes the truck real sluggish off launch (I am still a performance oriented), interior squeaks and somewhat cheap looking for a $35k+ vehicle.
