Not a bad truck. I had a K1500, and
this is nicer than that truck, but
still isn't as good as I could
(should) be, especially considering
the price. Workmanship/quality isn't
nearly as good as it should be. I
have upholstery coming unstitched,
rattles and vibrations that can't be
diagnosed, etc. Overall it isn't too
The flexibility of the bed can't be
beat. The hard, 3 piece cover is
nice, as is the midgate feature. I
also like the removable rear window,
and steps and handles in the rear.
2500 Avalanches should have towing
accessories STANDARD! No towing
mirrors, brake controller, etc.
That's crazy. I have a $35,000. truck
with $20. strap on mirrors.
Workmanship sucks. Should come with a
seamstress to fix the seats as they
