I was in the market for a new pickup
and knew I would have to also buy a
canopy to protect the lumber I buy and
the furniture I make. I also wanted to
be able to provide for more than two
passengers. The Avalanche was the
answer! It has fulfilled all my
needs. My wife, a bit dubious at
first, prefers to travel in this
vehicle over her new Maxima and tells
everyone she cannot believe the comfort
driving/riding in the Avalanche.
Obviously, the convertible bed. The
storage bins on the sides are also very
handy. The Z-66 package provides a
very smooth ride on the freeways.
I know for a vehicle this large/heavy I
cannot expect the fuel economy of a
smaller car, but I'd like to see some
improvement in this area.
